Wendell is a special boy who came to us at about 14 weeks of age with an injured rear leg. Xrays revealed an old fracture and it was determined that the best course of action for Wendell was to remove the leg while he was young and could adjust. And he has done so amazingly! One would never know that Wendell has 3 legs. We are seeking a home for Wendell with another dog(s) as he needs to have continued socialization with other dogs. He loves everyone and is very social when meeting people but can be overwhelmed in a hectic environment so he prefers a quieter household. Wendell is 6 months now and is a real mixed up breed. He appears to have some Hound, some Lab and something else. He has a long body and a hound bark and weighs about 30 lbs.
